2007 WRX no protocol for uk version

im trying to read the ROM on my 2007 wrx wagon, i will preface by saying this car has been tuned previous to my ownership but i have no information on how.

i believe by trying using ecu flash, my ecu could have been locked by the previous tuner, because of this i was pointed in the direction of fastecu, but i can see the ecu id in the bottom left corner but i cant find matching vehicle in the protocol lists for my vehicle

That should be sub_ecu_denso_sh7058_can which is CAN protocol. Some models with switching year could also use older, depends what time of year it is manufactured so if that don't work, test sub_ecu_denso_sh7058 which is K-Line.

thanks ill give that a go, it is looking like me ecu may be tune locked also, is there a way around this? oi dont know if its cobb, ecutek or something else as i bought the car already tuned.

id rather keep the current tune and make a couple small changes to it so would rather not flash it back to stock and start again
