Reprogramming the ECU (part number 22611AE831) for a GT 2000.

Hello everyone.

I am new here and am writing to see if anyone can help me reprogram the engine control unit (ECU) of a GT 2000 (part number 22611AE831, with the Hitachi WA12212920WWW chip) that was damaged during a previous reprogramming attempt.

I have the original .HEX file and am looking for the software to use and the test points on the circuit board (or a photo) to connect to it.
I was wondering if anyone here could explain how to reinstall the original file onto this ECU ?

Does anyone have any additional information regarding this specific ECU, as well as the hardware and PC software required ?

Hi,

FastECU has feature to use uj20 bootmode to flash bricked ECU. Note that sometimes it's possible that ECU is bricked for good and can't be restored.

Then use FastECU with protocol sub_ecu_unisia_jecs_20_bootmode.

I can't seem to find the EcuFlash software to download and install on a PC, and I'm not sure how it works.
Could you provide a few more details, or perhaps point me to a tutorial on how to do it?
